Animation Reel July 2014

I've spent the majority of July at MIAD Pre-College taking Advanced Figure Drawing and have been loving the facilities, teachers, and other students there. However, I'll post about my MIAD experience on a different day (its been a great one)-I've been doing mostly figure drawing but here's my updated demo reel with some new shots and a new line up for some meetings coming up.

Well now that this reel is done, I'll spend the next few days gathering my sketches from this summer, scanning them, and posting them up here for an updated portfolio.

Daily Update #17: I'm Back From Disney!

Hey there!

I'm finally back from Disney World! It was a great trip.

I know I originally said I was going to make a real long blog post about everything I did but I figured that was boring to read so I've decided I am going to make a video collage of all the stuff I filmed. Its going to be very cool :D

Not sure when It'll be done but it will be.

Daily Update #9,10, and 11

Hi there!

I know I haven't blogged in a few days, my cousins were down for the week so we were super busy with that, but good news...

THE DEMO REEL IS COMPLETE!

Yup, you heard correctly! The demo reel is finally out, here it is!

YAY! after a month of work, it's finally out!

Right now, I'm going to go to disney world... So check out my twitter, it'll be the only time where I tweet like every time something happens that isn't related to my animations. I'm very excited

Daily Update #2: Demo Reel and Sketches

Hey there everyone!

Today's been a pretty good day, I have about 33 seconds of animations for the reel in which I've made this month alone! Also, with the ball bounces I'm going to do soon, hopefully that'll add 7-10 seconds then if I do a character animation it'll make a it longer as well!

Just a heads up...I'm going to Disney World August 9th so my daily updates will still be going, and I'll be talking about all the awesome stuff about Disney.

Now on to the daily doodles and animationsA cute kitten, penguin and some kids from Preston Blair book.

Some hands, a business man, a puppy, and some other stuff Lt. Dan walk- I wanted to go back and fix this guy's movements, before they were very abrupt now hopefully they are more subtle.

Demo Reel Update 7/24/12

Hello everyone! The demo reel is going great. I had some troubles mid-july but I'm right back on track for an awesome reel. Here are the NEW animations:

And I still have to do those dreaded ball bounces, AHHH.

Anyways, reels coming out August 8th (maybe even earlier :) )

I can't wait to show off this demo reel. I think I've improved a lot from my first animation tests as "CartoonyAnimator"

to some finally good animations in only 5 months. I'm feeling pretty good right now, but I can't forget that I still have a long way to go. I'm not even a 1/10 of the way there yet.

Demo Reel: 7/11/12

Hi everyone!

Right now I'm still working on my demo reel!

HERES THE UPDATE

2 polished walk cycles
3 walk cycles WIP
1 ball bounce completed
1 animation that is 5 seconds long in progress
4 ball bounces still to be animated.

I'm really loving the process of making the animations for this reel!
