Figure Drawing This Week

3 of my 4 art classes are currently going on (1 at Studio Technique, 1 at the university, and 1 at my high school) all are going great so far. My favorite is Studio Technique. Anyways, here are 4 (of about 100) I've done these past 2 or 3 weeks. I'll post more specific assignments and such as the semester goes on.

Here's just a few of some of my figure drawings this past week. There's been A LOT more- mostly quick ones though. Trying to do a couple hours a day. This semester I'm taking 4 art classes. 1 at my high school, 2 at the local university, and 1 online with Studio Technique. All life drawing classes so I'll be posting a lot of drawing this semester!

A Little Figure Drawing

Here is what I have been practicing. Adding structure and measuring to my figure drawing (and a little tone!). I have been doing a fair amount of drawing but decided to just scan two and spend the other time to keep drawing (takes a while to scan). I'm preparing for a new portfolio with 20-30 figure drawings and a couple creative/personal pieces. I'm excited to show/slowly update as the year rolls along.

Going to keep working on figure and developing more contrast. At the very end, there's a pic of a house'm working on now.

I've also animated a lot this weekend, still working/polishing though. I'll post the completed exercises as I continue to work on them.
